THE FOUNDERS' WORLDVIEW

OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLES APPLIED

THE COMMON THREADS

Is there a common thread woven through the social problems of AIDS, pornography, divorce, incest, abortion, sodomite (homosexual and lesbian) political influence, rising health costs, increased taxes, sex education, drug abuse, the venereal disease epidemic and crimes of passion?

The answer. Yes. In fact, there are more than one. First and foremost, the Founders acknowledged that all men are created equal, and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. Our nation is founded on Creation principles. The Creator has established fixed, uniform and universal laws of nature as absolute standards of right and wrong. Each of these social problems flow from an activity that violates those absolute standards.

An absolute standard being violated throughout our land is that sexual activity outside a legitimate marriage relationship is wrong. AIDS, divorce, venereal diseases, incest, sodomy and pornography flow directly from the violation of this law of nature. Drugs and alcohol are used to deaden the pain caused by such illicit activity. Sex education and crimes of passion exist because of the violation of the rule of law that sexual activity outside marriage is wrong. Rising health costs and increased taxes require us to pay for the havoc caused by these violations.

There is a simple way to see how these social problems depend on this violation of absolutes. Think how these social problems would virtually end if the people of this nation conducted sexual activity only in a legitimate marriage bed. Humanists/Atheists would no longer have a basis for pushing sex education down the throats of parents and their children. Homosexuality and lesbianism would cease along with the attendant mass murders and sadomasochistic activity. Incest, divorce, venereal disease and pornography would have no victims.

In his book, To Pray or Not To Pray, David Barton shows the statistical analysis of what has happened in our nation since Humanism/Atheism became the State-established religion. Through the action of the judicial branch, the State-imposed ban on teaching absolutes is evidenced by the elimination of prayer from the schools. Some of us believe that since the Creator gave parents the authority to teach the children, the existence of government schools usurps the authority of parents to teach their children in a Godly manner. It has gone so far now that a written objective of public school curricula is to teach the children that the civil government is the protector of the children within the family unit. So much for liberty.

Humanistic/Atheistic principles have run roughshod over the laws of nature and nature's God which are the ultimate legal authority for our nation. (See the first sentence of the American Declaration of Independence.) Every one of these social problems can be laid at the doorstep of Humanism/Atheism. That's another common thread!

Our nation generally operated under the founding principles of absolutes for over 300 years. Only the last 30 to 50 years have seen the Humanistic/Atheistic principles of evolution override the creation principles of absolute standards. Sex education, for example, first started in the United States in 1957. We can now witness for ourselves the devastation of the Humanistic/Atheistic philosophy operating in our society without challenge.

It will worsen to the point of our nation going over the edge into the abyss, unless the Church becomes salt and light. We must realize, discipling a nation involves more than personal evangelism, as important as that is.

The only answer is for we the people to become involved in overcoming the scourge of Humanism/Atheism that has torn our society into shreds. This will require us to learn the Creation principles upon which our American Constitutional Republic is based, how to apply them and, then, put these principles into action.
