THE FOUNDERS' WORLDVIEW

CREATION AUTHORITY

EQUALITY IN A NATION

Our unique governmental system rests on the self-evident truth that "all men are created equal." Obviously, this does not mean that the Founders of our nation were all the same height, weight and social status. They did know, however, that the Sovereign God of the Universe is impartial and causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust.

It necessarily follows that all men are equal under the laws of God, and, therefore, are equal under any laws passed by a legislative power recognizing God's laws as the supreme legal authority. The Founders established God's laws (the laws of nature and nature's God) as the supreme legal authority in the United States. Thus, all men are created equal under the laws of the United States of America.

With this truth, all men are created (not evolved), the Founders established a legal system erected on a base of Creation principles. If men are created, there must be a Creator. And, indeed, our Founding Fathers proclaimed that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain "unalienable" Creation rights.

That points to two fundamental facts, (1) our Creation rights cannot be alienated or transferred to anyone else under any condition, and (2) but for the existence of a Creator, such "unalienable" Creation rights do not exist. No matter what happens, a created man can never lose these rights because they are an integral part of his being. Thus, under no circumstances or condition is it possible to have an "unalienable" Creation right taken away, given away, or otherwise lost.

Why is this true? Because the Creator, having created all men, has authority over His created works and no one else, under any man-made law, can establish an authority higher than the Creator of all men. The first principle of Creation is that the author or creator of anything has authority over his created work. (Here, the words "author," "creator" and "his" are terms of authority, not sexual terms.) Because the State does not create anything, it has no authority other than what the people give it. Furthermore, anything the elected people do, they do as representatives of the people.

In contrast, in every other country in the history of mankind, the State has been or is considered the supreme legal authority. In Babylon and the Roman Empire, the respective heads of state even demanded worship as God. No nation other than the United States of America is, or ever has been, founded on the principle of Creation authority.

Where the State defines the rights of men, they are called "civil" rights. What the State gives to the people of a nation, the State can also take away. The same thing is true of the so-called "human" rights said to be "inalienable" and which allegedly flow from the whole of mankind as proclaimed in the 1950 "Declaration of Human Rights" issued by the United Nations. Again, what "mankind" can allegedly grant to individuals are very transient depending on the mind-set of the representatives of "mankind" who control the political power of a nation.

Human rights are no more inalienable than civil rights because they are purely man-made. However, God-granted "unalienable" rights as found in our Declaration of Independence are fixed, uniform and universal because they reflect the nature of the Sovereign God as their source.

Unfortunately, with unGodliness and unrighteous principles having usurped power by substituting evolutionary principles for the Creation principles of our American Constitutional Republic, freedom issues now revolve around "civil" rights and liberties rather than the God-given "unalienable" rights recognized in our Declaration of Independence.

We the people need to understand more about Creation authority and how its restoration to our society can enable us to live the life the Creator intended mankind to live. Having done that, we need to apply that Creation authority of the people and restore the American Constitutional Republic to its former status of providing a standing rule for liberty in our nation.
