American Remnant Truth: Has "self-government" become a dirty, fourteen letter word in America? It seems so. The Federalist Papers reveal the 1788 American belief that "republican government presupposes the existence of...sufficient virtue among men for self-government." So they chose "to rest all [their] political experiments" on "the capacity of mankind for self-government" with an individual and corporate duty to God, fulfilled voluntarily. Obedience gained a free, open society composed of local, self-governing republics. Today, however, corporate policy and individual conscience freely give way to self-indulgence. So we now owe a duty to the State that is involuntarily fulfilled by those who believe that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are unalienable rights endowed by the Creator. Consequently, an ever expanding closed, controlled society is emerging. Yet there is a Remnant that believes it still owes its duty to God and that first principles of fixed, uniform, and universal TRUTH govern all of us whether we know it or not. Roscoe Pound, dean of Harvard Law School from 1916-1936 and renowned legal scholar, developed a Godless "sociological law" to replace the idea of a fixed rule of eternal LAW. In 1921, Pound wrote that 18th century Americans believed in "first principles of law inherent in nature" that were "of universal validity, among all men, in all places and in all times," and gave "a complete constitution for the statesman and an infallible guide to the conscience for the individual." His life's purpose was to change the course of law and government in America. The Remnant now sees a struggle for America's corporate mind-set to regain its focus on those first principles. For a biased media daily reports the fall-out from the sociological clash of "the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" and the opinion polls and focus groups that mirror court decisions, academic State-ism, and religious tradition. So instead of republican self-government under the rule of LAW, a democracy said to be seeking the general will of the people is really birthing a gigantic centralized government that continues to seize power from the states and the people despite the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The purpose of this website is to under-gird any HOPE for the restoration of the American Republic that produced the only nation of its kind in history, past or present. Our Mission--To give the people the tools to know and understand the TRUTH. For too long, our Nation has undergone a process that has defined civic knowledge down. Simply put, public education, the media and politicians have worked in concert--not necessarily in conspiracy, although the effects are similar--to obtain power without proper authority. It is our hope that the information found herein this website will help the reader(s) achieve further information that will allow for a different point of view. This perspective, frankly, is about freedom, individual responsibility and self-government, and is designed to empower individuals over government. We hope that this information breeds new knowledge and understanding about how our republic is supposed to operate, and how we, as citizens are to act if our rights and freedoms are to withstand another 200 (plus) years.Isaiah 1:9... "Unless the LORD of hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been made like Gomorrah." Contact InformationWe are interested in your comments.
